Furious Wish

Furious Wish was conceived in 1998 by Christopher Muessigmann, a 24 year old poet. He had always wanted to create music and up until that point had been recording ideas, jotting down lyrics and never really put anything solid together. In 1999 he moved to the Chicago area and joined a local band under a different name as the front man and lyricist. Furious Wish was put on hold. While a few ideas born under the Furious Wish name made their way to their one and only album, he kept most of it locked away from the world. By 2000 the band had split up. It was at that point Furious Wish truly came to fruition. 

Alone in a room with some low budget rented equipment, his first solo album entitled "My Favorite Dream" came to life. Furious Wish would grow for 8 more years and 5 more albums. At that point life got in the way and he wouldn't record again until 2020 with the album "Fade Out Inward" which was  a collaboration with his son, followed by "The End is the Beginning" in 2025. 

Every song since the inception of Furious Wish has been a time stamp of an emotional journey for a man that has always been a loner.

2026 brings yet another chapter titled "The End is the Beginning Volume II" which is currently in production, as well as the concept for a compilation album containing 25-30 tracks.
